Living just outside of Cleveland often means having more than just dogs and cats.
From backyard chickens to small hobby farms, many households in surrounding areas care for animals like:
🐓 Chickens
🐐 Goats
🦆 Ducks
🐰 Rabbits
🐢 Outdoor enclosures and more
And when you travel or have a busy schedule, these animals still need reliable, daily care.
🐾 Do Backyard & Farm Animals Need a Pet Sitter?
Yes—and it’s often harder to find the right help.
Unlike traditional pets, farm and outdoor animals require:
Consistent feeding schedules
Clean water (especially important in changing weather)
Egg collection
Coop and enclosure checks
Monitoring for injuries or escape risks
Skipping even a day can lead to real problems.
🚜 Why In-Home Care is the Best Option
Transporting farm animals isn’t realistic—and can cause unnecessary stress.
Keeping them at home allows:
Routines to stay consistent
Less stress on the animals
Safer, more controlled care
Proper monitoring of their environment
